Open Day: A New Office and Services Launched
End-to-end delivery of Angel Carers' Bridport office and new VERA services launch — concept through to the Mayor and Mayoress on the doorstep.
When Angel Carers relocated to a new Bridport office, I led the entire marketing and events campaign around it — from the relocation announcement through to Open Day itself and the follow-up content afterwards.
The event itself was designed as a relaxed drop-in open house — Wednesday 27th May, 10am until 2pm, no need to book, everyone welcome. That meant designing every piece of print and digital collateral (posters, flyers, boards, QR assets), plus branded giveaways — notebooks and pens — for guests to take away. I coordinated professional printing, drafted invitations for clients, families, staff, suppliers, local businesses and media, built the Facebook Event and local listings, and ran the countdown content in the weeks before.
On the day, on-site wayfinding signage guided visitors down the alleyway to the new office and introduced VERA, the wellbeing space, alongside the rest of the building. I secured attendance from the Mayor and Mayoress of Bridport, liaised with local press for editorial coverage and photographed the day myself. It was designed from the ground up — concept, budget, logistics, promotion, delivery and follow-up — the full lifecycle of an event, not just the day itself.
